Sapphires are gemstones made of corundum. They are mostly a blue color, but they can also be yellow, green and purple.
Sapphires are the birthstone of September, sapphires represent Sincereity, truth, and faithfulness.
They are also commonly associated with royalty and has used as ornimentation for hundreds of years.
